The Ceremony

The wedding ceremony holds significant meaning for various reasons. It serves as a moment where as a couple you recite your vows and express your spoken promises, before your witnesses. This allows your friends and family to witness the bond of love and support between you both.

Secondly it provides formality for you and your guests, showing respect for the vows being exchanged. These time-honoured ceremonies also play a role in navigating our emotional experience through important milestones in our life.

Weddings are slightly different from other types of ceremonies in that they have serious legal implications. Only qualified and registered celebrants or priests can officiate wedding ceremonies, and certain elements of the ceremony are non-negotiable.

Optional extras

Those moments between the “I do” and the celebration shouldn’t feel hurried or chaotic. That’s why I offer In-Between Time - up to 2 hours of relaxed, behind-the-scenes coordination, so you can soak it all in (or have photos taken) without worrying about what your guests are doing or where they need to be.

I’ll assist with organising family and group photos, helping everyone be in the right place at the right time (without the stress of wrangling guests). I’ll encourage guests to sign the guest book, pop cards into the wishing well, and gently guide them towards the reception or agreed location.

Throughout this time, I’ll keep everyone in the loop - letting guests know when the bar opens, what’s planned next and where they need to be. I’ll also be a warm, familiar point of contact for your guests and, if needed, touch base with your vendors to keep everything running smoothly.
